IVEX is seeking a proactive and inquisitive Product Engineer to join our Product team, contributing to the evolution of active and passive safety technologies. In this position, you will focus on customers needs, master our existing solutions and go beyond them, engage with clients to define feature requirements and side products, and optimize tool workflows. You will bridge the gap between product management and engineering to shorten product timeline, taking ownership of specific workflows to drive continuous improvement fast. This role is for candidates with a background in vehicle and software engineering looking to deepen their expertise in vehicle safety.

Key responsibilities

• Master IVEX product offerings, developing a comprehensive understanding of workflows, technical capabilities, and customer value.

• Collaborate with customers to identify and document new feature requirements based on real-world use cases.

• Enhance and refine existing tool workflows to ensure robustness, efficiency, and superior user experience.

• Maintain end-to-end responsibility for a dedicated set of product features, managing their lifecycle and iterative improvements.

• Interface between customers and development, translating high-level needs into detailed, actionable technical tasks.

• Support current solutions ensuring reliable results and effective troubleshooting.

Requirements

• Master in Mechanical Engineering, Biomechanical Engineering, Vehicle Engineering, Software Engineering, 

• Strong motivation and a desire to learn about vehicle safety technology and ADAS/AD systems.

• Basic Python proficiency and the ability to interpret code for validation and implementation purposes.

• Excellent communication skills in English, active listener, with the ability to bridge technical and business discussions.

• ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity and workflow efficiency.

• Hands-on attitude and growth mindset with the ability to manage diverse tasks within a fast-paced startup environment.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Euro NCAP or similar safety assessment protocols.

• 3 years experience in the field.

• Previous experience with vehicle sensor data or automated driving systems.

• Exposure to product management tasks such as roadmapping and backlog prioritization.

• Knowledge of development tools like Git, Linux, or libraries like Pandas.

• Experience in an application engineering or customer-facing technical role.
