In the Summer of 2023, this inaugural project between both companies delivered data-driven recommendations to enhance road safety and efficiency for the Provincie of Zuid-Holland (PZH) in the Netherlands.

Challenge
- Assess the performance of Lane Keeping Assistance (LKS) and Intelligent Speed Adaptation (ISA) systems on the road network of the Province of Zuid Holland (PZH)
- Identify hotspots where LKS and ISA systems fail, leading to safety hazards
- Provide expertise and recommend road safety and maintenance practices for ADAS-equipped vehicles
Solution
- Perform data collection campaign and data processing (~650 kilometers driven)
- Provide valuable data and insights to support RHDHV in hotspots reporting
- Synchronise videos and hotspots to enable experts to gather insights to enhance road safety
Outcomes
- LKS and ISA hotspots identified and mapped
- Insights and solutions provided to enhance road safety and maintenance practices
